Partnership Development

We exist to support our partners. 

One of PMSP’s primary roles as an Oregon STEM Hub is to convene STEAM education stakeholders in the Portland Metro region through Partnership Development. We take a very broad definition to the word “partner” - if you support, care about, or work in the STEAM ecosystem in the Portland Metro, we consider you a partner.

We approach partnership development in many ways, including:

• Connecting PK-12 educators with industry professionals to bring Career Connected Learning opportunities to students.

• Connecting STEAM-focused educational researchers to STEAM educators, and vice versa, to inform best practices.

• Connecting STEAM-passionate educators to one another, both through professional development and networking opportunities.

• Connecting in and out-of-school STEAM educators to better connect students’ experiences throughout their day.

• Connecting higher education with K-12 education, both in and out-of-school, to make STEAM pathways more visible and accessible for youth.
