Community STEAM Education Navigator

Lena’s passion for education has always been the driving force behind her diverse experience. Working with learners of all ages, from pre-K to adulthood, her STEAM journey began as a participant in STEM Beyond School, where she discovered her own STEM identity and embraced her role as an educator. This personal growth sparked her career trajectory in STEAM education.

As the Community STEAM Education Navigator for PMSP, Lena is dedicated to creating multiple access points for students historically excluded from STEAM fields. She strives to support students in building their STEAM identities, guiding them toward success in college and career. Recently earning her Master’s in Education, Lena brings a fresh perspective and a deep commitment to equity in STEAM.

Outside of work, Lena loves traveling with her four daughters, especially exploring the beauty of the Oregon coast. When she’s not beachside, she enjoys riding horses and spending time with her playful dogs, always finding new adventures close to home.
