Measuring IMpact

The Research & Assessment Center plays a vital role in providing evidence-based information for organizations, programs, and partners to understand their impact, improve their programs, and communicate effectively with their community partners. Services may include:

  • Common Measures - Measure what matters! This set of tools allows educators to collect data they typically don’t have access to like student beliefs and perceptions, the culture of the school, and how leadership is impacting student success. This data allows educators to make changes that impact student success. We provide the tools, analyze the data, develop the reports, and work with partners to identify next steps.

  • Evaluation - Would you like to learn more about how your program is impacting student success? Need help in developing an evaluation plan for a grant? We’re here to help! We provide evaluation support including design, implementation, analysis, and reporting.

  • Research - What does the latest research say about…? We can help you answer your questions and can provide identity research-based best practices to implement with the goal of increasing student success. We curate research and develop short reports to inform partners’ decision-making. We engage partners in facilitated discussions to deepen their understanding and identify best practices to implement.

  • Grant Proposal Development - Working on a grant? Need help with writing it or having a second set of eyes to ensure it is aligned to the grant application? We support partners in developing grant proposals including reviewing & editing, developing logic models, and creating evaluation plans specific to grant requirements.

In all our work, we focus on educational equity and justice for BIPOC youth and youth navigating poverty. We strive to present data in ways that highlight inequities while attending to the receptivity of the audience.
