Networking Opportunities

Because passionate STEAM educators should know one another!

Along with paid professional development opportunities, PMSP hosts several networking events throughout the year. These events fall into three main categories:

• Partner Meetings: PMSP hosts Partner Meetings quarterly. If you work in or care about the STEAM ecosystem in the Portland Metro region, we consider you a partner! We typically host these events in the late afternoon/early evening. Food and beverages are shared, and we typically plan shared learning time as well as networking time into the event. • Collaboratory Meetings: Collaboratory Meetings bring together out-of-school educators from the East Metro, South Metro and Portland Metro regions to collaborate, network, and do shared learning around identified areas of need. • STEMPosium: PMSP hosts an annual STEMPosium event to bring together educators, industry professionals, and other engaged STEAM education stakeholders for a day of learning, collaboration, discussion and networking. Stay tuned for more information about the 2025 STEMPosium!
